Radio Communications

Two-way radio communications and the associated antenna system are an integral part of the hospital environment. Radio communications generally include life/safety radios compatible with the fire and police departments, paramedic/ambulance radio communication and a link to any helicopter for flight for life services. The scope of work is divided into two sections:

Technology Plus can assist St. Anthony Hospital in determining the requirements, options and alternative associated with selecting a radio system capable of meeting their operational requirements for facilities and emergency services. These systems generally operate in the 800/900 MHz range and with proper frequency allocation are compatible with existing public safety systems. Once the preferred option has been selected, Technology Plus can assist with the specifications, RFP development, acquisition assistance and oversee the integration into the hospital environment.
